Multiskilled HGV Trailer Technician
Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Multiskilled HGV Trailer Technician to join our expanding workshop team based in West Walton, PE14.
This role is predominantly focused on HGV trailer maintenance, including routine PMIs, servicing, repairs and brake testing. You'll be working on a modern fleet of trailers as well as customer equipment in a well-equipped workshop.
Regular overtime is available, and you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills within a growing, forward-thinking company.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine trailer PMI inspections.
- Diagnose and repair trailer faults efficiently.
- Perform servicing, maintenance and brake testing.
- Complete job cards and inspections using our R2C workshop management system (full training provided).
- Report defects and required repairs to the Workshop Manager.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and health & safety.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an HGV/Trailer Technician.
- Strong knowledge of HGV trailer maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
- HGV Class 1 Licence is desirable.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is preferred, although time-served technicians with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
